Locally known as “China’s Disney World”, Suzhou Amusement Land, covering 540,000 square meters, is located at the center of Suzhou New District at the foot of Tiger Hill. The park’s whimsical architecture and intricate details are the setting for classic fairground amusements like carousels, games, and cotton candy. Suzhou Amusement Land combines foreign and Chinese culture as well as natural scenery and modern facilities. and an integration of refraction of natural light and green trees.

Entry: Adults: 60 yuan/person; Children: 30 yuan/person.

Opening hours: 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Laohutan Ocean Park, situated in the central part of Dalian’s southern shore, is the biggest modern lido in China with a total area of 1,180,000 square meters (about 291 acres) and a coastline of more than 4,000 meters (about 13,123 feet). Guests can see gorgeous natural scenery and magnificent man-made sights, such as the Tigers Sculpture Square and Laohutan Polar Region Marine Animals World.

Entry: Adults:15 yuan/person; free for children

Don’t have time to actually go overseas? Shenzhen City, home to the great theme park Window of the World, gives you an opportunity to travel the globe in one day. The park features stunning replicas of the world’s greatest wonders, historical heritage, and famous scenic spots all in a scale ratio of about 1:15.Besides, there are various rides and special forms of night time entertainment.

Happy Valley is a chain of amusement park with  locations around China. The first park opened in 2002 in Shenzhen, which was followed by five more in Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Wuhan, and Tianjin. There are more than 40 rides, 10 of which are “extreme rides”, an IMAX theater with seven screens, and a shopping complex.

Entry: Adults: 260 yuan/person; Children: 160 yuan/person.

Chimelong Paradise, in Guangzhou’s Panyu District, is an icon of the city. Opened on April 12, 2006, it is the largest amusement park in China and has many features, including Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, the Chimelong Safari Park and Chimelong International Circus. Its eight themed areas make it an extremely popular holiday destination.Chimelong Hotel features 1,500 eco-themed rooms and suites, 9 bars and restaurants.

Entry: Adults: 200 yuan/person.

Ocean Park Hong Kong, located in Hong Kong’s Southern Districts, is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park. Covering 91.5 hectares (226 acres), the park is separated into two areas, The Summit and The Waterfront, by a large mountain. The winner of the 2012 Applause Award – a biennial international amusement park award – Ocean Park is a major attraction that will fill your day with excitement and lifelong memories.

Shanghai Disneyland, located in Pudong New Area (浦东新区), officially opened on June 16 this year. The world’s sixth Disneyland and the second in China, it’s home to the tallest theme Enchanted Storybook Castle, and the first pirate-themed garden. The designs and plays, including Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Adventure Isle, and Treasure Cove, are sure to give guest an unforgettable time.

Shanghai Disney Resort has two hotels. Shanghai Disneyland Hotel costs 1650 yuan a night and Toy Story Hotel costs 850 yuan.

Entry: A one-day pass costs 370 yuan per person on regular days, 499 yuan on peak days.

Opening hours: 9:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m.
