1.Yangsha Lake Tourist Resort in Yueyang City
Opened in June this year, Yangsha Lake Tourist Resort is renowned as the No. 1 Watertown in Hunan. The resort provides visitors with a comprehensive range of services including a Water Park, a Recreation vehicle (RV) campground, a lure fishing spot and a golf course.
2.Ziquejie Terrace Field in Loudi City
Ziquejie Terrace Field was reopened in September after a year’s closure for improvement work. With a history of over 2,000 years, it has been created by generation upon generation of Miao and Yao ethnic minorities. The best time to visit is May through October.
3.Yuanxiang Sea of flowers in Guandu County
From July to October each year, 13.3 hectares of crape myrtle flowers in Guandu County of Changsha attract thousands of visitors.
4.Tanhe Ancient Town in Ningxiang County
Built on the Tanheli Relics, Tanhe Ancient Town is the largest park that shows the civilization of the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046-771BC).
5.New Memorial Hall of the Autumn Harvest Uprising in Changsha
This year mark the 90th anniversary of the Autumn Harvest Uprising. The New Memorial Hall opened in September located at Meixihu District of Changsha displays the historical event with pictures, paintings, sculptures and videos. More than 70 cultural relics are shown there.
6.Taohuayuan Scenic Spot in Changde City
Taohuayuan Scenic Spot reopened in September after three years of improvement work. The annual garden party at this spot is one of the most important events in Hunan Province.
7.Beila Town in Changsha
Beila Town in Changsha is China’s first big parent-child amusement park, with more than 70 types of amusement facilities and about 5,500 mu (906 acres) of natural attractions covered by forests, valleys and lakes.
8.Tiantianwan Park in Yiyang City
Tiantianwan Park in Yiyang City, which opened on October 1st, is a contains many different amusement facilities. Its sky swimming lane has ranked No.1 in China.
