Giant pandas, the national treasure of China, are under first-class national protection. Their adorable appearance and behavior have made them popular around the world. Explore one of the panda capitals of the world — Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan Province.

Sichuan is a great place for pandas because of its favorable climate and abundant bamboo resources. There is Giant Panda Habitats, a famous World Heritage Site consisting of 7 natural reserves and 9 scenic spots that provides habitat for more than 30% of wild pandas in the world.
