Gubei Water Town in Beijing’s Miyun District is located at the foot of Simatai Great Wall. Situated alongside the Yuanyang Lake Reservoir, the town features up to 430,000 square meters of republic-era style Siheyuan. The town is only 2 hours’ drive from downtown Beijing. Recently, many Christmas activities have begun here. Would you like to join and celebrate a western festival in an eastern town? [Photo provided to China.org.cn]
